I am so sorry that you are going through that, lovie <3
It’s a really huge step that you told your boyfriend, I know that when I had to tell Alex back in the fall, it was extremely difficult. But you need to tell your parents because you need to get help. My suggestion is that you write a letter explaining everything. That’s how I told my mom and it made things so much easier. That way you don’t have to actually “say” anything, but you’ll be saying everything that your parents need to know. And then if they’d like to talk about things afterwards, it makes it a little easier. It is very important that they know. I can’t emphasize that enough. I’m sure you don’t want them to know, and I’m not sure if you want to get better, but you have to. This is your life, darling. And your life is so precious. Your body needs food to function. You are slowly killing yourself. I know it’s really scary to let go, but you have to. I can’t tell you personally what it is like to overcome it and be recovered, because I’m not there yet. But from everyone I know who has overcome an eating disorder, is SO much happier when they are healthy. People are always telling me that recovery is worth it. Please get help darling <3
Praying for you,
Stay strong and be blessed <3
Ps. If you ever want to talk privately, please come off anon and we can talk <3
